One or Two Day Courses
The Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers was set up in 1978 to establish an organisation for the individual swimming pool engineer to:Foster a professional approach to the design, installation and maintenance of swimming pools, enclosures and all ancillary equipment.
- Giving recognition to technical skill and ability.
- To engage in the education and training of persons within all sectors of the swimming pool industry.
- To promote unrestricted co-operation and liaison between all persons actively involved in the industry and its allied professions and trades.
- To provide opportunities for association and interchange of thought and experience amongst the members and their colleagues.
Many Managers have requested training that is specific to their own operation and to facilitate this, Studies in Work and the ISPE have designed these courses for pools & spas.
One day introduction Pollution and its removal, how pools and spas work, filtration flocculation & backwashing, Daily tasks, Water testing, Monitoring & interpretation of results and H&S.
Two day full course Control of all forms of Pollution, Circulation systems, filtration, flocculation and backwashing, electricity & ventilation, legionnaires disease, energy & utility conservation, risk assessment, the control of pH, balanced water, disinfection, testing and recording, reacting to results and H&S.
These courses can be held at your workplace or chosen pool site and is designed for up to 16 delegates.
